BLAST may host a Dota 2 tournament

Tournament organizer BLAST hinted at its return to the professional Dota 2 scene. The company's X account changed its name from BLASTDota to Blast Slam. The description mentions that this will be the name of its new tournament.

BLAST is a Danish tournament organizer known for its Counter-Strike competitions. It has only hosted one Dota 2 event, the BLAST Bounty Hunt, in 2020. Six teams from Western Europe participated, competing for a prize pool of 145,000 euros.

Earlier, PGL announced plans to organize at least eight major Dota 2 championships. They will take place between 2024 and 2026, with a prize pool of one million dollars each.
