Blitz about the future of Liquid

The coach of Team Liquid, William 'Blitz' Lee, announced that the team will make an official statement regarding its roster in a week.

He expressed his excitement for 2025, saying that news would come in a week and asked fans not to ask questions until then, as he would be absent from social media until the announcement.

Earlier, Blitz reflected on his team's victory at The International 2024 during a post-match interview. He noted that he did not make any sacrifices for the team but acknowledged that his players took a risk by choosing him, a coach with no previous experience leading a championship team. He remarked on the team's struggles over the past five years, highlighting how they could have disbanded numerous times, as many suggested. Despite not qualifying for TI, Team Liquid continued to support them. Blitz expressed his gratitude to players like zai, Nisha, and MATUMBAMAN for taking the risk and being willing to play with the team, adding that he was relieved not to have ruined Nisha's career.

He also thanked the individuals who had supported the team, mentioning Chloe, Jabbz, Kpii, Jonah, Victor, Mark, and everyone in Team Liquid. Blitz emphasised that success requires teamwork and admitted that while he might not be great on his own, he is surrounded by extraordinary people.
