Boo1k reveals what went wrong in the Birmingham final

BetBoom Team has released the final blog post about ESL One Birmingham 2024 for Dota 2. The video includes Anatoliy "Boo1k" Ivanov's analysis of the team's issues after the second map of the grand final against Team Falcons.

"If something doesn't work out for someone, they just split up across the map and farm. One support runs bot, the other goes top on Mirana. The guy on Primal Beast can go anywhere on the map. So even if we kill someone, they keep farming. We just need to think better, as all games will come down to a 5v5 fight. We just need to keep that in mind.

Throughout the game, the guys farm and look for an opportunity to take the best fight under their vision. Everything will come down to them getting a good fight. If they don't, they lose. These moments will decide the game.

If we transition adequately into the midgame, we'll have the opportunity to play Dota. If we don't, the guys will just stack and attack under any wave. We have all the capabilities to play better than them. We're leading this series better than they are. But for some reason, something inexplicable happens, and then everything goes to hell."

BetBoom Team finished second at ESL One Birmingham 2024, losing to Team Falcons in the final with a score of 0:3. Ivanov's team earned $175,000. This is the club's best result at LAN tournaments since entering the discipline.

The next event for the BB Team will be PGL Wallachia Season 1. The championship will take place from May 10 to 19 in Romania, with a prize pool of one million dollars. Virtus.pro and Team Spirit will also compete from Eastern Europe at the tournament.
