Bzm on Dragon Knight: "He's all-round strong, fun to draft"

In an interview with the Spanish-language studio covering Elite League Season 2, OG midlaner Bozhidar 'bzm' Bogdanov discussed their victory over Shopify Rebellion, the choice of Dragon Knight, and mentioned other challenging opponents in the tournament besides Team Liquid.

Regarding their victory against Shopify Rebellion, Bogdanov admitted that the game was intense and still shaking from the experience. He confessed that he would have been equally shaken had they lost, but he was glad they managed to win.

On the choice of Dragon Knight for each map, he explained that he had played Dragon Knight twice because the team had gained some insights into the hero. Although he couldn’t divulge specifics, he mentioned that he felt comfortable playing Dragon Knight, highlighting his versatility and the ease of drafting him as key reasons for the choice.

Commenting on the significant creep advantage against Sand King, Bogdanov expressed surprise at the extent of the gap but noted that once a lead is established, it should be maintained.

Regarding the team’s improvement throughout the tournament, Bogdanov stated that they had been observing the play styles of other teams and the heroes they preferred. They arrived with a new addition to the roster and took time to understand his preferences and thoughts about the game. The team engaged in extensive discussions and exchanged new ideas, which, according to Bogdanov, made things progressively easier.

When discussing other strong teams in the tournament apart from Team Liquid, he mentioned 1win, as well as a couple of South American teams — BOOM Esports and beastcoast — indicating that these teams could pose significant challenges.

OG finished the first day of the group stage of Elite League Season 2 undefeated in their matches, having defeated both Shopify Rebellion and beastcoast.
