OG support Sébastien "Ceb" Debs gave an interview after being eliminated from the Riyadh Masters 2024 Dota 2 playoffs. The two-time world champion will not play in Elite League 2024 Season 2 as he wants to dedicate himself to raising his child.
Commenting on OG’s performance in Riyadh, Debs said, "It’s a big disappointment. I firmly believe that the standards we set could have taken our team to the top-3. Obviously, this is a bitter pill to swallow."
"I will miss Elite League. I recently became a father, so I’m going to spend time with my family. I also feel I’m reaching the limit of how many disappointments I can endure. I did my best in Riyadh. I believe we created something strong, but we couldn’t show it to the world and the fans. That’s my biggest disappointment. Other teams watched us from the sidelines. I think they also expected OG to place high in the tournament. We had great momentum for that."
Debs added that he is proud of his team. According to him, they did a great job.
On July 18, OG lost to PSG Quest in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs at Riyadh Masters 2024, with a score of 1:2. The Western European team finished in 9th-12th place, earning $100,000 in prize money.
