Collapse disappointed with third map of match against NAVI
After their match against Natus Vincere at the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational, Team Spirit offlaner Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov provided his thoughts on all three games of the series in a video message on the team's Telegram channel.
He explained that in the first game, Team Spirit's draft was generally okay, but NAVI also had a strong draft with Beastmaster, a current meta pick. Collapse noted that their early game struggled because NAVI moved well, and they couldn’t find proper use for their heroes. However, after a few successful fights where NAVI lacked Black King Bar, they managed to turn the game in their favour.
In the second game, Collapse felt that their draft was not ideal. He admitted that their performance was messy, with many unnecessary deaths and poor positioning. Although they won a few fights, they struggled to close out the game and ultimately lost.
For the third game, Collapse believed their draft was slightly weaker than NAVI’s. He felt Windranger was not the most reliable carry and mentioned that his own performance was hampered by swapping lanes. Despite the challenging circumstances and facing mega creeps, Team Spirit continued to fight and eventually secured the victory.
The Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational runs from July 28 to August 4 in Zhangjiakou, China. Ten teams are competing for a prize pool of $500,000.
