Dota 2 analyst Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov reflected on the weakest player on 9Pandas, highlighting Marcel "Ekki" Kholovienko's lack of initiative.

"It's no surprise they kicked Ekki out of Secret; he's a real flop. He died and handed over the Gem of True Sight. Initially, Solo set it up, but that's classic of this player. Eventually, Ekki followed suit and couldn't pull anything off.

Not to mention, he should be taking the initiative. He plays as the 'four' position Batrider. He should be finding opportunities on the map, not just farming under his tier-2 tower." - Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov

Ekki joined 9Pandas to participate in the FISSURE & ESB Elite League 2024. The ex-Secret support replaced Vladislav "Antares" Kertman, who took a break from his career. The team performed poorly in the tournament and got knocked out in the group stage. Out of three lost series, the team managed to win only on one map.
