Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov, Rustam "Adekvat" Mavlyutov, and other scene representatives commented on Virtus.pro's exit from the Riyadh Masters 2024 in Dota 2. Almost all noted the team's poor performance.
"Definitely not GG, VP, it was played very poorly :(," Rustam "Adekvat" Mavlyutov remarked.
"I literally don't know what to say. MOUZ was a gift; it should have elevated VP to the pedestal, not plunged it into darkness," Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov expressed.
"How did VP lose the second map? It seemed like MOUZ was a gift in the rematch, but it's 0:2. They just suffered," Daria "Eiritel" Morozova added.
"Disband," Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhametov said.
"It's tough. They tell us not to criticize players, but this is just awful. How can they play so badly? Antares played the game of his life, and did everything perfectly. It's not surprising to hear a passive-aggressive sigh from him. They can play well, it's tough," Arseniy "ArsZeeqq" Usov stated.
Virtus.pro was swept by MOUZ in the match for the group stage entry. Artem "Fng" Barshak's team exited the tournament, placing 17-18th and earning $25,000.
Riyadh Masters 2024 is held from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. Teams compete for $5 million. Eastern Europe is also represented by Team Spirit and BetBoom Team, starting the event from the group stage.
