«Dota 3» Reaction of s1mple, RAMZES, NS, and Others to Patch 7.36

On May 23, Valve released patch 7.36 for Dota 2. Representatives of the esports community, including Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev, Roman «RAMZES» Kushnarev, and others, reacted differently to the update  release.

s1mple was brief. Meanwhile, Oliver «skiter» Lepko asked fans to share imbalanced aspects with him.

«Dota 3», — Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev.

«If you've found any broken or unexpectedly functioning features, write to me in private messages. Thanks», —Oliver «skiter» Lepko.

Roman «Resolut1on» Fominok positively commented on the new patch. According to the player, developers have made Dota «more interesting».

«A cool and super unusual patch. There's a ton of imbalanced stuff, and 100% everything will be fixed within 1-2 weeks. But it's very interesting. Dota has become an even more interesting game», — Roman «Resolut1on» Fominok.

RAMZES was surprised by the amountof changes but hadn't delved into the patch notes yet.

«A lot of changes. It's really difficult, all this needs to be tested. It'll take at least a week to figure it all out. I'll get tired of reading everything. Pure~ says he spent five hours on this. But I'm really not up for dealing with this. We'll figure it out as we go», — Roman «RAMZES» Kushnarev.

Analysts Yaroslav «NS» Kuznetsov and Pavel «9pasha» Khvastunov agreed that patch 7.36 didn't drastically change the game.

«I looked at the patch. Overall, the game hasn't changed at all because the main things like the economy, etc., remained the same. But the overload of mechanics is worrying. It's like too many toys have already been hung on this Christmas tree. Anyway, I won't be playing this for five days. I'll wait until the hype dies down a bit because I played two pubs and found people in them who seemed like they hadn't played Dota for years. In short, the noobs are even worse than me. Wait until the noobs retreat to where they came from and also wait for bug fixes and imbalances to be addressed. The idea is sound, I recommend it», —- Yaroslav «NS» Kuznetsov

«To me, it looks like a patch with Shards. They just added a bunch of new stuff, and nothing changed in Dota. They just gave each hero one new skill or passive ability. You'll learn it and remember it. Over time, Dota will be exactly the same as before. Maybe new strategies will emerge.

Most likely, it'll be like in Warcraft: you're given a choice, but in fact, you don't have it. There's like an imbalanced aspect, and there's crap», —Pavel «9pasha» Khvastunov

The main features of patch 7.36 are innate abilities and aspects. They refreshed gameplay for all heroes. Dota also added a new treasure trove with skins and launched the second act of the narrative event «Fallen Crown».
