Dread explains how early kills affect victories in Dota 2

Streamer Andrey "Dread" Golubev discussed the impact of early kills on winning in Dota 2. According to him, this metric does not significantly determine the match outcome, but players often tilt because of early kills.

"Note that all early kills have a very weak effect on the game's outcome based on net worth. Now, such kills only affect morale and how your teammates will communicate and make decisions. They will just tilt and say, 'Let them break the throne. I have no items and no desire to play. I'm standing in a Shadow Amulet under the tower because the score is 0-10.' Such a score doesn't increase the opponent's win rate by 100%. You can check through Dota Plus that the losing team's win rate will be 30-35%, not 90%. That's a lot, but people already don't want to play. They turn that 30% loss rate into 100%."

Earlier, Golubev discussed the problems of high-level Dota 2 players. He believes that while they have good mechanics, they struggle with game understanding.

In late June, Dread mentioned that he might quit Dota 2. The streamer has been getting tired of the MOBA, although the new patch has rekindled his passion for it. If he decides to stop playing Dota, he will likely return to regularly covering events as he did before.
