ESL One Bangkok 2024

ESL One Bangkok 2024 will be the final tournament of the current year from ESL and will take place from December 9 to 15 in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, at the Royal Paragon Hall conference centre. The tournament will feature 16 teams: 4 will receive direct invitations based on their EPT rankings, while 8 spots will go to the winners of the regional qualifiers. The prize pool will total $1,000,000, with each participant receiving a share of this amount.

The tournament format will follow the classic LAN style of 2024 events: in the group stage, teams will compete in a round-robin system, and then in the double-elimination playoff bracket, the winner will be determined. ESL One Bangkok 2024 will be a key event within the ESL Pro Tour, where the world’s top teams will compete not only for cash prizes but also for valuable points towards the season’s final rankings. Fans can expect thrilling matches and intense competition right up to the final.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 Format

Teams 

- Four teams will qualify through the EPT Leaderboard;  

- At least one team will come from each regional qualifier. 

Group Stage (9-11 December 2024) 

- Two groups of six teams, each playing a round-robin format;  

- All series will be played as best-of-two games;  

- The top two teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs;  

- Teams finishing 3rd and 4th in each group move to the lower bracket;  

- The remaining teams are eliminated.  

Playoffs (13-15 December 2024)  

- A double-elimination bracket will determine the champion;  

- All matches, except for the Grand Final, will be played as best-of-three;  

- The Grand Final will be a best-of-five series.
