Here’s a comprehensive guide to ESL One Birmingham 2024, covering the full matchday schedule, results, participating teams, streams, and more.
ESL One Birmingham 2024 Dota 2 Format:
ESL One Birmingham 2024 features a two-stage Dota 2 tournament. The 12 qualified teams will compete in two round-robin groups of six, with each match being a best-of-two. After the group stage concludes (including any tiebreakers), the top two teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the next two start in the lower bracket, and the final two are eliminated.
The remaining eight teams proceed to a double-elimination playoff bracket, with each match being a best-of-three. The grand final will be a best-of-five, with the champions claiming a prize of $300,000 and 6,400 EPT points.
ESL One Birmingham, along with the upcoming season of DreamLeague, are the last two events where teams can earn points before invites to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, are allocated.
