ESL One Birmingham is down to the top 3 teams

With the BetBoom Team leading the charge after a smooth upper bracket run. They secured their spot in the grand finals by defeating OG in the semifinals and Tundra Esports in the finals, marking yet another top-two finish for them this year.

The showdown between BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports was highly anticipated, especially with Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen showcasing his creativity in the mid lane for Tundra. However, BetBoom's trio core of Phantom Lancer, Dragon Knight, and Beastmaster proved too much for Tundra to handle, leading to their defeat in both games. Despite glimpses of hope in the mid-stage of the first game, Tundra was completely overwhelmed in the second, marking the biggest stomp of the tournament thus far.

Meanwhile, the lower bracket rounds proved unforgiving for Chinese Dota 2 teams, with none of them making it through. OG, a wildcard entry replacing 1Win due to visa issues, put up a strong fight against Team Falcons but fell short in a thrilling series. Falcons' victory secured them a spot in the top 3 alongside Tundra Esports and BetBoom Team.

The last day of ESL One Birmingham is set to begin with the lower bracket finals between Tundra Esports and Team Falcons, followed by the best-of-five grand finals.

ESL One Birmingham 2024 boasts a prize pool of $1,000,000 and 26,640 EPT Points, with distribution as follows:
