Fng named the best format for Dota 2 Tournaments

Professional Dota 2 player Artyom Fng Barshak shared his thoughts on the most appealing tournament formats for MOBA games during a stream. This segment was highlighted by the author of the Telegram channel LEGENDWP DOTA 2.

Barshak expressed his discontent with the Bo2 format, labelling it as inadequate and describing Bo2 group stages as the worst format in Dota 2. He suggested that a more exciting format would be having all teams play in a single group with Bo1 matches against each other. He also mentioned that an effective Swiss system, where teams are eliminated based on their performance, could be a good alternative.

Previously, Barshak had discussed the prospects of continuing his esports career. He acknowledged his desire to keep competing but noted that after a season or even two poor performances, interest in him may wane.
