G2.iG beat 1W Team and advanced to the group stage

G2 Invictus Gaming defeated 1W Team 2-0 in the upper bracket of the Play-In stage at FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 for Dota 2. As a result, Jian Wei 'xNova' Yap's team has advanced to the group stage of the tournament.

1W Team will continue their campaign in the lower bracket of the Play-In stage. Georgiy 'swedenstrong' Zaynalabidov's team will compete for the second spot in the group stage against the winner of the pair nouns vs. PSG Quest.

FISSURE Universe: Episode 3 runs from August 18 to 25. Teams are contending for a prize pool of $150,000.
