Gabbi Caught Betting — Faces Lifetime Ban from Valve

Former Blacklist International Dota 2 player Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte has been caught sharing screenshots of his bets on social media. According to Valve's rules, esports players are prohibited from placing bets with bookmakers. The maximum penalty for this violation is a lifetime ban from all Valve tournaments.

Gabbi captioned the screenshot, "Only made one mistake yesterday." All the bets were placed on May 17th for matches in the PGL Wallachia Season 1.

Blacklist International was supposed to participate in PGL Wallachia. The team qualified for the tournament but couldn't compete due to visa issues. They were replaced by Azure Ray.

Previously, Gabbi revealed that he left the team after being assaulted by a teammate. He did not name the person but hinted at Abed "Abed" Yusop. Rumors suggest that the players argued because Gabbi revealed a secret about Yusop on a stream. Allegedly, Abed has dental prosthetics, a fact he kept private. Whether this is true or not remains uncertain.
