Gorgc has devised a method to abuse double-down tokens in Dota 2. He believes that theoretically they can be abused indefinitely
"Infinite double-down tokens are very easy to abuse. Let's say we have two people - Timmy and Tommy. They start searching for a match simultaneously, and it's very easy to match up with each other on 'Titans.' And every time Timmy plays against Tommy, he uses a token. And Tommy intentionally tries to lose the match. Then they switch. Theoretically, if they keep doing this for a long time, both will reach 15k MMR.
Previously, you lost as much rating as the player on the other team gained. But now these values are independent." - Yanne "Gorgc" Stefanovsky.
Gorgc began his gaming career as a professional Dota 2 player, playing for several teams including The Retry, Balkan Bears, and PRIES. However, he later transitioned to full-time streaming on Twitch, where he quickly amassed a large following. His charismatic personality, humorous commentary, and high-level gameplay attracted a dedicated fanbase.
Double-down tokens returned with the "Fallen Crown" update.
