Gpk~: "We Initially Entered Riyadh Masters 2024 in Poor Shape"

BetBoom Team mid-laner Danil "gpk~" Skutin commented on the team's performance at Riyadh Masters 2024 in Dota 2. He expressed that the team faced some difficulties before the tournament started.

"I wouldn’t say that victory depends on the team's mood," said Skutin. "We simply approached this tournament in poor shape from the start. I think it was evident in the group stage. Then we had a break. We played scrims for two days and watched games. We just drew conclusions on drafting and gameplay on the map, and things went more smoothly afterward."

When asked if the matchup against No[o]ne was the toughest for him in the tournament, Skutin replied, "Not really, I just feel that I’m not in the best shape right now. My matchups haven’t been going well in this tournament. I’m trying to pull through."

BetBoom Team defeated Entity Gaming 2:1 in the lower bracket of Riyadh Masters 2024. They will next face WBG.XG on July 19 at 12:00 MSK.

Riyadh Masters 2024 is being held from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia, with teams from all regions competing for a $5 million prize pool.
