Grandpa must have forgotten to take his pills — sQreen
Khaled 'sQreen' El-Habbash took to his personal Telegram channel to respond to Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov's remarks about who deserves to be called a professional player. He argued his case against his opponent.
Khaled 'sQreen' El-Habbash criticised Kuznetsov for his claims that sQreen was never a professional player. He suggested that Kuznetsov must have forgotten to take his medication or is living in a distorted reality. To counter Kuznetsov's statements, sQreen shared old videos where he demonstrated his impact in games, playing against top teams and using unconventional strategies, such as playing Tusk with Aghanim's Scepter and being an aggressive presence on the map.
He contrasted his own experience with Kuznetsov's, noting that NS played during a time with less competition and did not adapt well to the increasing skill level in Dota 2. sQreen highlighted his own experience scouting, assembling, and playing with young, lesser-known players from 2012 to 2024, including notable names like Munkushi from 1win, Save from BetBoom, and SquaDkix.
sQreen also pointed out the irony that Kuznetsov criticised his $11k in prize money, despite Kuznetsov having $25k, excluding show matches, even though he had played at The International.
Previously, Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov expressed surprise at sQreen's claim of being a professional player, citing a lack of achievements and relatively low prize earnings.
