Since the Dota Plus update introduced by Valve on October 15, 2020, all players have gained access to Shards and Hero Levels for their selected heroes.
Non-subscribers can achieve a maximum hero level of five, unlocking two voice lines.
Subscribers have the opportunity to unlock an additional seven voice lines, contingent upon gameplay dedication and completion of hero-specific quests.
