Dota 2 analyst Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov reflected on his departure from RuHub. He explained that the studio did not approve of his ideas for development and let him go without firing him.
"I got tired of working for someone else," Kuznetsov recounted. "I was one of the founders of RuHub and made many organizational decisions. I had influence over various processes. But then, I lost that influence. I became just another commentator, drawing a salary. It became harder to have any impact. Whenever I expressed my dissatisfaction with something, I was tactfully told to get lost. Many of the things that existed in the studio were my ideas. I wanted to contribute to its growth again, but I was told to get lost."
"At that point, the studio and I decided to part ways," Kuznetsov continued. "I said, ‘If you’re not interested in my recommendations and advice, maybe I should leave?’ They told me I could go. No one was keen on me staying. That was their mistake. Apparently, I had annoyed everyone. They couldn’t fire me because that would have been odd. So, I think RuHub thought, “Finally, he’s gone,” and they didn’t even need to fire me." pointed out Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov.
In May 2022, Kuznetsov mentioned that he could have earned "twice his monthly salary" from a single advertising integration, but he wasn't allowed to pursue it, despite having a "quite substantial" salary at the studio.
NS worked at RuHub from 2015 to 2020. During his tenure, he covered major tournaments such as The Manila Major, The Kiev Major, and other significant championships.
