Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi, the support player for Team Liquid, shared several tips for playing Oracle in Dota 2.
He highlighted that Oracle now can indicate rune spawn locations to teammates, which he described as one of the most exploitable features in the game. He advised pinging this ability as early as possible, especially for midl-aners.
iNSaNiA also noted that since Oracle can predict where the rune will appear, players can adjust their movements accordingly. If the rune spawns far from the lane, they can leave earlier, and if it’s nearby, they can stay longer. This allows more time on the lane with the carry, and ensures the mid-laner knows they’ll arrive on time.
In team fights, many Oracle players focus on using the ultimate as the main method of saving allies. However, iNSaNiA suggested that in most cases, using Fate's Edict first is often a better approach. By applying this ability initially, players can later use the ultimate if the ally's health gets low, while preemptively providing healing.
