INSaNiA intends to bypass everyone and get into the upper bracket

Team Liquid support player Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi shared his thoughts in an interview at Elite League Season 2 following their victory over Shopify Rebellion. He discussed the recent match, explained their choice of Oracle in the third game, and commented on the tournament and his team's performance in the round-robin stage.

On the recent match:

Sarkohi expressed mixed feelings, acknowledging that they did not perform at their best. However, he was glad they managed to win both series that day.

On the round-robin stage performance:

When asked about the possibility of advancing to the upper bracket, he mentioned that he hadn't seen their standings and was unsure if it was still possible. However, he stated that if there was a chance, they would certainly try to make it. If not, he referenced a famous quote, implying that the upper bracket is for weaker teams.

On playing Oracle in the third game:

He explained that Oracle is a comfortable hero for them. They were uncertain about their pick for the third game, so they chose a hero they were familiar with.

On playing Chen against Hoodwink:

Sarkohi highlighted that Chen is a strong counter to Hoodwink. Hoodwink deals a lot of physical damage with Acorn Shot, but with Chen’s Divine Favor, you can give yourself armour, negating Hoodwink's damage. This makes Chen a good pick against Hoodwink.

On Elite League Season 2:

He noted that every time you attend a tournament, you expect to dominate your opponents, but it never happens that way. He was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the teams present, which provided a challenging environment and pushed them to play at their best. He remarked that he doesn’t believe there are any easy tournaments.

Previously, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski from Team Liquid shared his thoughts on playing in the second position in the current meta and discussed their preparation for Elite League Season 2 and the upcoming The International 2024.
