Introducing the Steam Game Recording Beta

Dota 2 players around the world experience a wide range of moments daily, from brilliant plays to hilarious mishaps. Sharing these moments with friends is now easier than ever with the new Steam Game Recording feature.

Game Recording allows you to save your gameplay either by recording in the background or manually with a hotkey. Dota 2 recordings will include a timeline with game-defined markers, and you can also add your own markers. Review confusing team fights or failed ganks during the game, or take your time afterward to find the best moments to share. Clipping and sharing your highlights is simple and quick.

To join the beta, opt into the Steam Beta Update in your Steam Interface Settings. For more details, visit the Steam Game Recording webpage. Start sharing your clips with friends, and provide feedback if you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvements.
