"It's Madness." Former Neon Support Reveals Southeast Asian Players' Salaries

Professional player Travis "Castaway" Waters revealed the salaries Dota 2 esports players from Southeast Asia ask for. According to him, some are willing to join an organization for only  $10,000 a month.

"Everyone is asking for big salaries. Every player wants to get more and more. How can this be maintained? It's madness. There are esports players in Southeast Asia asking for eight or ten thousand dollars a month, but they aren't even considered tier-1 players. I don't want to sound rude, but these people are out of touch with reality. I just wish Dota players were a bit more sensible," Castaway expressed.

Previously, Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin revealed Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg's salary in Team Liquid, stating that the Swedish esports player received about $25,000 a month.
