LenaGol0vach: "You Don't Just Reach 5k MMR…"
During a personal Twitch stream, content creator LenaGol0vach discussed the differences between players at various MMR levels in Dota 2's ranked matchmaking.
"I realized that each rank brings its own experiences," LenaGol0vach remarked. "For example, when you hit 3k MMR, it's just like a bunch of beer drinkers there – just complete nonsense. These are casual players who don't understand the meta or anything. They might log in once every six months. 3k MMR is for scrubs. But 5k MMR is different – these are people who think, 'Okay, reaching 5k MMR isn't going to happen just like that.' You either have to buy a boost, learn to play better yourself, buy an account, or do some other shady stuff. You don't just get to 5k MMR – it's not like the beer rank, where you log in and have 3k MMR without trying. Getting to 5k MMR requires effort. That's why you start encountering those annoying players."
Previously, during another Twitch stream, LenaGol0vach also complained about Dota 2 players who purchase accounts or use MMR boosting services.
