In an interview following their victory at FISSURE Universe: Episode 3, Stanislav 'Malr1ne' Potorak, the mid-laner for Team Falcons, discussed their preparation for the grand final, how he maintains a consistently high level of performance, and the team’s plans.
Potorak explained that their preparation was similar to previous times, with adjustments made based on drafts and gameplay. He also mentioned that they had to consider the group stage and upper bracket as part of their development strategy.
He attributed his consistent performance to extensive practice and learning from his mistakes. Potorak emphasised the importance of immediate correction of errors and credited his exceptional coach for additional support, though he acknowledged there is still room for improvement.
He noted that despite the intense practice tournament, which is viewed as a preparatory event by all teams, they plan to take a day or two off. They intend to engage in team-building activities to strengthen cohesion and take a brief rest due to the demanding nature of the tournament format.
Earlier, Team Falcons defeated Team Spirit with a score of 3:0 in the grand final of FISSURE Universe: Episode 3, securing the championship title.
