Mars is not an aura hero — Collapse

Team Spirit's Dota 2 offlaner, Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, shared his thoughts on item builds for Mars in the current aura meta. He also criticised Li "niu" Kongbo's decision to build Pipe of Insight on Bristleback during the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational playoffs. Collapse expressed his opinions in a video on the club's YouTube channel.

Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov asked Collapse about playing Mars with a Desolator. Collapse responded enthusiastically, saying it was great fun and that it allowed him to quickly clear creep waves. He emphasised that Desolator has always been and will continue to be the best item for Mars.

When Korb3n inquired about the relevance of Pipe of Insight and Guardian Greaves, Collapse dismissed the aura items. He pointed out that niu's decision to buy auras led to a loss, stressing that aura items should only be considered for support players like Mira and Miposhka. He further criticised the idea of buying auras on Bristleback, stating that Bristleback is not the right hero for such items.

Korb3n also mentioned that Mars is not suitable for aura items. Collapse agreed vehemently, asserting that Mars is not a support hero who buys auras, but a god of war meant to secure kills himself.

The match between Team Spirit and LGD Gaming at the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational ended with Team Spirit winning 2-0. However, the Russian team was later defeated by Xtreme Gaming in the grand final and subsequently exited the tournament.
