MieRo on BB Team’s Form: «The New Patch Is a Breath of Fresh Air»

BetBoom Team’s offlaner Matvey «MieRo» Vasyunin commented on their victory over Xtreme Gaming at DreamLeague Season 23 in Dota 2. He believes the new patch has strengthened the team’s performance.

«We just prepared well for Xtreme Gaming. Moreover, the new patch finally came out. Because of this, the atmosphere in our team is great, and we are all happy. The release of the new patch is a breath of fresh air for the team. Everyone was tired of the old patch, and we were excited to try new strategies. Everything is good.

If we talk about offlaners, there are many new heroes for this role now. For example, Axe, Legion Commander, and possibly Night Stalker. Even heroes from the old meta are still strong. I also like the new builds. It's always great to have new options.

I played Batrider a bit in public games. I also want to try Tiny in the offlane. I tested new heroes like this.

BB Team defeated Xtreme Gaming 2:0 and advanced to the lower bracket final of the tournament. They will next face Team Falcons. The match will start at 13:00 MSK on May 26. In 2024, Vasyunin’s team has not beaten their opponents, including in the final matches of ESL One Birmingham 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22.

DreamLeague Season 23 is taking place online from May 20 to 26. Twelve teams are competing for one million dollars and 26,100 DPC points, necessary for qualifying for Riyadh Masters 2024. BB Team has already secured their spot in the tournament.
