Mira: "PGL Wallachia Is the Starting Point, After Which We'll Dominate Again"

Team Spirit's support, Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov, reflected on the team's form at PGL Wallachia Season 1 in Dota 2. The roster approached the tournament with maximum seriousness after a rough start to the season.

"In terms of my personal level of play, it's better here than at ESL One Birmingham 2024 and the tournaments of the first half of 2024. But I'm still not as good as I want to be. I need to get better. I'm trying to work on it every day.

As for the team's form and level of play, they weren't as good. We made a lot of silly deaths and often made bad decisions. In this tournament, we decided to try our hardest. Every day we play for more than 10 hours. We're trying to put in maximum effort to improve. I think in this and future tournaments, we'll gradually become better and better. This is the starting point, after which we'll dominate again." - Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov

Spirit defeated G2.iG with a score of 2-0 and advanced to the lower bracket final. Next, the team will compete against Team Falcons for a slot in the tournament's final match. The match will start at 11:00 AM MSK on May 19.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 is taking place from May 10 to May 19 in Romania. The prize pool is one million dollars, with the winner taking $300,000. Kolpakov's team has reached the top 3 of an event for the first time in 2024.
