Vitaliy 'Sword_Art' Petkin, coach of Natus Vincere, expressed his views on Deadlock and the current state of matchmaking on his personal Twitter account.

Petkin stated that he did not understand the hype surrounding Deadlock, as he found it unimpressive. He suggested that it would be better to address the issues with matchmaking, noting that playing at a 10k average has become nearly impossible due to the game being largely dependent on the actions of others. He observed that 70% of games are beyond one's control, with players often grinding, throwing, or going AFK without consequence.

He also mentioned that The International is approaching in a few days, and his favourites are GG from Europe and Spirit from Russia.

Earlier, Petkin had shared that only a small number of his friends had purchased the Compendium for The International 2024.
