Unexpected transfer in the Team Spirit team

Unexpected changes in the cockpit appeared in Team Spirit, the organisers decided to take Alexander “Accell” Litvinenko instead of Ayrat “Silent” Gaziev, they have not made any official statement about this.

The information about the coaching change appeared in documentation on the Liquipedia website. According to these details, Accell is listed as the coach of Team Spirit for the 1win Series Dota 2 Fall tournament, in which the team participates. The organisation has not issued an official statement so far, but it is assumed that the change is linked to Silent being on leave until 2025, as stated by the team’s manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov.

Previously, Korb3n had temporarily taken over coaching duties. Still, Team Spirit has now decided to bring in Accell, the former coach of PSG Quest, who led the team to a 5th-6th place finish at the Riyadh Masters 2024 and a top-four finish at The Bali Major 2023. Some fans speculate that this collaboration might be a trial run, potentially making Accell the team’s permanent coach. However, this theory remains unconfirmed for now.

Former professional player Bauyrzhan “lilskrip” Bisembaev also mentioned Accell’s possible move to Team Spirit on his personal Telegram channel.

Ayrat “Silent” Gaziev, who has been with Team Spirit since December 2020, has played a crucial role in the team’s success. Under his leadership, the team won several major tournaments, including two championships in The International series. However, Silent has been on leave since September 2024, and there has been no further news about his return.

Team Spirit roster at the time:

- Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov

- Denis “larl” Sigityov

- Abdimalik “Malik” Sailau (stand-in)

- Alexander “rue” Filin

- Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov

- Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov (on leave until January 2025)

- Ayrat “Silent” Gaziev (coach, on leave until approximately 2025)

- Alexander “Accell” Litvinenko (possible coach).
