Content creator Alexander "Nix" Levin shared his thoughts on Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, the carry player for BetBoom Team, during his personal Twitch stream.
He questioned why Nightfall couldn’t become the fearless player he once was, attributing it to pressure from both the community and his teammates. Levin emphasised that, in his opinion, Egor had once been a creative genius but had since become a mere imitation, which is a common issue for many players.
Drawing from his own experience in Dota, Levin explained that at some point, players can lose faith in their ideas, succumbing to societal pressure and conforming to accepted norms, which hinders their performance. He believes this is what happened to Egor, who stopped trusting himself and began listening to others more than his instincts. Levin contrasted this with 33, a player who remained successful by sticking to his style, continuing to play heroes like Beastmaster and Visage rather than copying others.
