Nisha about Peru: “It’s hard to play European pubs, because the ping is 180”
Team Liquid's mid-laner Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, in an interview at Elite League Season 2 after their victory over beastcoast, shared his thoughts on playing in the second position in the current meta, as well as discussing preparation for this tournament and the upcoming The International 2024.
On playing mid in the current meta:
Nisha mentioned that he is a big fan of the aspects, as they have strengthened weaker heroes. This has expanded his hero pool and made the game more enjoyable for him. He expressed his approval of these changes.
On preparation for Elite League Season 2 and The International 2024:
He explained that the team could not prepare for Elite League Season 2 due to spending two days travelling after Riyadh Masters 2024. Additionally, playing European pubs was challenging due to a ping of 180, so their training has been limited. They have been scrimming with other teams but that's all for now.
Regarding The International 2024, Nisha said that they plan to have a bootcamp starting about ten days after Elite League Season 2, which will last for approximately a week.
On beastcoast's mid-laner Lumpy:
Nisha commented that Lumpy is quite good. The last time he played against him was at Riyadh Masters 2024, and he was decent there as well. Nisha found it difficult to play against him in this series.
Previously, William "Blitz" Lee mentioned that Team Liquid had considered signing Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida.
