Nix: "I Invest Heavily Instead of Commentating Casually with a Beer"

Streamer Alexander "Nix" Levin shared his thoughts on Dota 2 coverage. According to him, his success in casting professional matches comes from his deep immersion in the game.

When asked if watching Twitch is a waste of life, Levin responded, "It depends. I've been watching Dota for many years, progressing and developing in it. I notice various aspects and analyze things."

"I’m good at commentating on Dota because I dive deep into it and stay focused," Levin explained. "I'm not on autopilot, saying random things. I try to understand, dig deeper, scroll the map, click on heroes, smokes, wards, and vision. I aim to integrate myself. I invest a lot of effort instead of sitting with a beer and commenting on what the observer shows: 'Ha-ha, Dendi hooked' or 'Oh, Nightfall used BKB-TP.' You can do that, but it doesn’t offer the same depth and quality," mentioned Alexander "Nix" Levin.

Previously, Levin stated that he has no equals among Dota casters, attributing his unique style to his emotions rather than technical knowledge.

The Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024 championships will be the highlights of the current season, taking place in July and September, respectively.
