Nix Unbanned on Twitch
The streaming platform Twitch has lifted the ban on Alexander "Nix" Levin's account. The ban lasted for two days.
On May 19th, Twitch blocked Nix's channel following complaints from Winline and Paragon. According to their version, the content creator used player webcams from the official Russian broadcast without permission. Levin denied the accusation, insisting that he was streaming the Dota TV feed with a 15-minute delay.
On February 25th, ESL updated the community cast rules. Paragon Events adopted the same regulations for their broadcasts. Streamers are now required to add an additional 5-minute delay on top of the 15-minute delay from Dota TV. Nix complained to Valve about the new rules, but the company ignored his appeal.
Earlier, streamer Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov stated that he does not plan to cover ESL tournaments. According to him, the community's rules are too strict.
