Streamer and analyst Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov commented on the release of the major patch 7.37 in Dota 2 on his personal Telegram channel.
He noted that the developers once again changed nearly all heroes, a bunch of items, mechanics, and interactions, sometimes in minor ways and sometimes not so minor. Kuznetsov suggested that anyone wanting to know how the game works now should study the new changes thoroughly. He remarked that it would be interesting to see how teams fare in tournaments today. He also mentioned in passing that the developers forgot to check Ringmaster in the patch, but added that such things happen.
On the night of 1 August, Valve released the major patch 7.37, which overhauled depletion and ability blocking mechanics and significantly adjusted hero balance.
