NS about Puppey joining NAVI

Streamer Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov shared his thoughts on Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov joining Natus Vincere's Dota 2 roster as a stand-in. During a personal livestream, Kuznetsov expressed surprise that the Estonian player might have left his club for such a line-up.

He commented that he found it difficult to understand or discuss this move, noting that the roster included Yuragi, sanctity-, BOOM, Zayac, and Puppey, which he described as a "legendary team." Kuznetsov found it strange for several reasons, particularly because Puppey already had his team, Team Secret, which he had created and co-owned. Kuznetsov questioned why Puppey would leave his brand, even though the team could continue without him.

He suggested that if Puppey had joined a truly exceptional team, it might have made sense, as it would imply he wanted to play Dota elsewhere. However, he expressed confusion over the current roster, calling it a poor line-up. Kuznetsov speculated that Puppey might have agreed to play with NAVI just for one tournament and therefore joined the team on FACEIT, without planning a permanent move.

On the morning of 23 September, it was confirmed that Puppey had joined Natus Vincere's roster on FACEIT. An official announcement later explained that Ivanov and Miroslaw 'BOOM' Bican were stand-ins for the team for upcoming tournaments. While the duration of their involvement with the club was not specified, they are expected to play in the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 24.
