Analyst and streamer Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov pondered the current state of Dota 2. The game doesn't bring him pleasure due to the length of matches.
"Finally made it home. Hooray! Planning to start streaming on May 8th. Though it's not entirely clear what to do. I have little desire to play modern Dota. It's that endless 'Groundhog Day' with jungle PvE for 50 minutes in every game. Just the thought of it makes me break out in a sweat. Although the desire might arise. Right now, I'm feeling some sort of apathy, not really wanting anything in particular." - Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov
Previously, Kuznetsov speculated on the reasons for the absence of a balanced patch. In his opinion, Valve didn't want to distract gamers from "The Fallen Crown" event, so they didn't release adjustments for the MOBA. More details on this can be found on our website.
The last balanced patch, 7.35d, was released on the night of March 22nd. It significantly changed some characters, items, and much more. They also reworked the ban system and added a pre-match preview for Dota Plus subscribers. On April 19th, the "The Fallen Crown" update was released. Arcanas for Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage was introduced in the game, but the gameplay remained unchanged.
