Esports betting services provider Oddin.gg has unveiled a fresh collaboration with esports tournament organizer PGL.
Under this multi-year agreement, Oddin.gg becomes the sole data and integrity services provider for PGL's Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 events.
This partnership entails Oddin.gg supporting PGL's eight Dota 2 tournaments and a minimum of 11 Counter-Strike 2 competitions spanning from 2024 to 2026. The collaboration commenced in November 2023 during the 2024 Copenhagen Major, where Oddin.gg furnished odds, risk management tools, and widgets throughout the event.
Oddin.gg's collaboration with PGL follows the latter's announcement of hosting over ten Counter-Strike 2 events in the upcoming two years. In tandem with Counter-Strike, PGL has also expanded its Dota 2 portfolio, planning eight tournaments with a prize pool of $1 million (~£801,610) over the next three years.
Moreover, Oddin.gg extends its services to various other stakeholders in the esports industry. In April 2024, it joined forces with Indian esports company Skyesports to disseminate data across Oddin.gg's array of betting products.
Data remains a cornerstone of PGL's operations. In March 2024, the organization renewed its partnership with data analytics company Shikenso Analytics, which serves as its exclusive data partner for the remainder of the year.
Marek Suchar, Co-founder and Managing Director of Partnerships at Oddin.gg, commented on the collaboration: "Our objective is to align with the foremost entities in esports, and PGL epitomizes excellence within the tournament circuit.
"This partnership marks a strategic move toward elevating the global esports experience, and we eagerly anticipate the innovative strides PGL will take in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 in the years to come."
