Pudge Receives New Visual Effect in Dota 2

On May 3, 2024, Valve released an update for Dota 2, introducing a new visual effect for one of Pudge's abilities. The attention to detail in this small patch was noted by the author of the "Dota Stepana" channel on Telegram.

Now, when Pudge activates the Flesh Heap ability, his entire model becomes darker. However, the floating shields around the hero remain unchanged. According to the "Dota Stepana" channel author, aside from this addition, Valve has only updated the game's localization in the last two minor patches.

The last balance update for Dota 2 was released on March 22. On April 19, the "Forsaken Crown" patch was launched, introducing a corresponding in-game event. Many gamers anticipated gameplay changes with this update, but Valve opted not to implement such alterations.
