Pure top carry The International 2024

During a personal Twitch stream, Alexander 'Nix' Levin discussed Tundra Esports' performance at The International 2024. Following the team's elimination to the lower bracket, he commented that Edgar '9Class' Naltakyan was a better fit for the roster compared to Martin 'Saksa' Sazdov. After Tundra Esports secured a top-three finish, he praised Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko and Matthew 'Whitemon' Filmon.

Regarding Saksa and 9Class, Nix remarked that Saksa appeared lacklustre and did not perform exceptionally well. In contrast, 9Class brought a noticeable vitality to the team, contributing significantly to their performance. Nix felt that 9Class was the key player who held the team together.

On reaching the top three, Nix was impressed by Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko’s high skill level, expressing great joy for his achievement. He also highlighted Whitemon’s outstanding performance across four maps, particularly noting his phenomenal plays on Enchantress. Although Whitemon had previously been an average player, his recent performance was remarkable.

Nix believed that Pure had already proven himself as the top carry of the tournament, especially after his performance on Luna. Even if Tundra Esports had been eliminated earlier, Pure’s play on Luna would have still earned him the title of top carry.

On September 14, Tundra Esports defeated Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons to secure a top-three finish at The International 2024. The team is set to face Gaimin Gladiators in the lower bracket final.
