Pure: “We play to win, but at the same time for fun”

Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, the carry player for BetBoom Team from Eastern Europe, shared his thoughts on his team's playstyle in a new vlog.

"We've already passed the 'honeymoon phase.' For us, it lasted three days. I believe we have a pretty unique team with unique personalities and a special playstyle. We play to win, but also for fun. I think this is the strongest form in Dota."

Earlier, during an interview on the DreamLeague Season 24 broadcast, Moskalenko discussed who is responsible for preparation and drafting in the team.

"Mostly, Boolk and Save handle the preparation. Sometimes I help them, and sometimes I just play pubs. I would say the three of us work on the drafts. We decide which heroes to pick, the draft concept, and so on."

Moskalenko admitted that sometimes he can suggest something completely crazy, and these crazy ideas usually work. Communication within the team is structured in such a way that every member can propose any creative ideas, strategies, and everything is discussed, analysed, and decisions are made.

"For example, Kiyotaka suggested Keeper of the Light. Anyone can call out a hero, and we'll discuss it. If the idea works, we pick it," Moskalenko shared about the team dynamics.
