In a recent vlog on the Gaimin Gladiators YouTube channel, mid-laner Quinn discussed his decision to change his in-game nickname.
Quinn explained that he decided to switch from his original nickname, CCnC, because people frequently asked about its meaning, which became quite annoying. He felt that even after leaving Dota, it would be frustrating to continually face questions about the name. To preempt this issue, he opted to change his nickname to simply use his own name.
He noted that CCnC originally stood for "Cool, Calm, and Collected," which was a fitting description of him at the time he created the nickname about nine years ago. Quinn admitted that Dota had somewhat affected his positivity since then, acknowledging that he had been extraordinarily positive back in those days.
