Rank doesn't mean anything in Dota

Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, a member of the Western European team Tundra Esports, shared his thoughts on the significance of rank in Dota 2 matchmaking during a stream.

When asked why he has a negative view of 7jesu, Kushnarev referred to players like him as insignificant, dismissing the importance of rank. He explained that rank doesn't matter at all unless it's above a thousand. He pointed out that at high MMR, where games involve players with ranks from 1 to 800, the rank doesn't determine much, as you're essentially playing the same games.

He further mentioned that he can criticise players in the top 1000, top 2000, or top 3000 because he will never encounter them in a match. But when your rank is between 1 and 500, you're playing the same games repeatedly.

Earlier, Kushnarev also commented on Stefan "Ulnit" Gavrila, the carry player for MOUZ.
