Resolut1on Could Have Become Tundra's General Manager for Dota 2

Professional player Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok received an offer to assemble a Dota 2 roster for Tundra Esports. However, he declined, which went against his approach to esports.

Resolut1on said, "I was offered to assemble a roster for Tundra when it was just forming. I wasn't ready. They offered me zai's role, but I didn't want to give up the opportunity to play. I would have had to turn into a business person, like ppd."

Tundra opened a Dota division at the end of January 2021, signing the mudgolems stack. It included Neta "33" Shapira, Oliver "skiter" Lepko, and Leon "Nine" Kirilin. Later, they became champions of The International 2022. In 2023, the team couldn't defend their title at TI12, finishing 13th-16th. However, they showed good results in the season—winning BetBoom Universe Episode 1 Comics Zone and placing third at The Bali Major.

On July 20, Tundra finished competing at the Riyadh Masters 2024. They lost to Team Falcons in the lower bracket playoffs 0:2. The team finished fourth and earned $400,000. Before the Riyadh tournament, the club finished in the top 3 at ESL One Birmingham 2024 and made it to the top 6 at DreamLeague Season 23 and FISSURE Universe Episode 2.
