Ringmaster has become the most popular hero among eSports players

During the week from 23 to 29 August, Ringmaster appeared over 10,000 times in Dota 2 matchmaking, the highest frequency among all heroes. The closest competitor, Lina, was picked almost twice as infrequently, according to data from Dota2ProTracker.

Ringmaster’s win rate during this period was 55.7%, also one of the highest among all heroes. The hero was most commonly used in the "four" position, where his win rate reached 57%. Some players experimented with using Ringmaster as a core hero, such as in the "three" position or mid-lane, but he showed a negative win rate in those roles.

The player with the most matches on Ringmaster was Georgiy "Gilgir" Svistunov, with 38 games. Alexander "Immersion" Khmelevskoy and Kenny "Xepher" Deo were also among the top three players with 16 matches each.

Ringmaster was introduced to Dota 2 on the night of 23 August. The hero currently lacks skins and Aghanim's Scepter effects. On the night of 29 August, developers released a balance patch that nerfed the hero.
