RodjER: "It's Really Disappointing That They Canceled True Sight"

Former L1GA Team member Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of the True Sight episode for The International 2023 in Dota 2. He lamented Valve's decision to stop making these films, as they provided extra motivation for esports players.

"It's really disappointing that they canceled True Sight," said Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan. "It was such a cool concept. Being featured in True Sight... even just for a Major final, was one of my strongest motivations. It’s amazing because it allows you to showcase internal communication and really express yourself. You can demonstrate how much you contribute to the team and the calls you make. That pushed me forward too. I wanted people to see that."

The last True Sight was released after The International 2021, focusing on Team Spirit's victory. In 2023, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk revealed that Valve would no longer produce these documentary films. The developers have not explained the reasons behind this decision.

Previously, Nikogosyan discussed climbing the ranks in Dota 2. The esports player believes that joining a new team is essential for advancing in the ladder. You can read more about his thoughts on this topic on our website.
