Roster changes in the World of Dota 2 and Conflicts in China

The professional Dota 2 scene continues to evolve, with news of player transfers, roster changes, and the resolution of legal issues making waves.

Nikita "dualrazee" Dubinsky in 1win Team

Ukrainian player Nikita "dualrazee" Dubinsky has been announced as the stand-in mid-laner for 1win Team, according to the organisation’s social media channels. Known for his wide hero pool and high rank (Top 110 in the European ladder), dualrazee will compete in the upcoming 1win Series Dota 2 Punch, starting on 21 December.

Natsumi- Joins Talon Esports

Filipino esports player John "Natsumi-" Vargas has officially joined Talon Esports. Previously, he stood in for Eljohn "Akashi" Andales in the first position during the MESA Invitational 2024 in Mongolia, where the team secured first place.

Chinese professional player Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang remains embroiled in a legal dispute with Invictus Gaming, despite the team’s roster disbanding. The conflict began after NothingToSay signed with IG in November 2023, during which the organisation secured sponsorship from G2. However, after a disappointing season, the partnership ended, leaving players in limbo.

NothingToSay commented on his absence from the scene, stating he had retired. Meanwhile, prominent Chinese businessman Yang is willing to mediate and resolve the conflict.
