Satanic on the technical loss in the Yellow Submarine vs. 1win match

Yellow Submarine carry Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov commented on the incident with the technical loss on the fourth map against 1win in the grand final of the qualifiers for Elite League 2024 Season 2 in Dota 2. According to him, Vyacheslav "asdekor_r" Ignatiev accidentally banned Windranger.

"Erase just misclicked the hero, that's all. Then the chaos started. Then we were allowed to rehost. We were just banning heroes, and asdekor_r misclicked. Well, not really misclicked... Anyway, 1win and we started randomly banning heroes, and asdekor_r accidentally banned Windranger."

"Honestly, the admins reacted very slowly. [Did they write to you: 'Guys, you lost?'] Yes, that's how it was."

"I was upset because it's nonsense — how can you misclick like that? It's one thing to misclick on picking a hero, but on banning? There are thousands of characters, and a ban misclick decides the outcome. Because of this, we lost the match point."

Yellow Submarine received a technical loss during the draft of the fourth map due to incorrect actions during the hero bans. This was preceded by picking Pangolier instead of Storm Spirit, after which midlaner Daniil "erase" Ivanov allegedly left the server and couldn't return to the game.

Satanic's team defeated 1win 3:2 and earned a slot in the tournament. Elite League 2024 Season 2 will take place from July 25 to August 4 in Peru. The prize pool is $800,000.
